Step 1: Add your fuel suppliers ⛽👤
If your company does not use fuel, you can follow the same steps for electricity
Let’s start by identifying your car fuel suppliers.
Add the fuel suppliers your organization works with to My value chain to link them to your Asset (here your organization).
Head to Value chain>My value chain>Explore Ecosystem. Find your suppliers directly in the ecosystem, and simply pursue to select “add to my value chain”.
Review your imports. Once added, head back to Value Chain> My Value Chain to review your suppliers and ensure everything looks correct.
Step 2: Import fuel data ⛽
Now time to connect the dots! Import your car fuel activity data – the fuel your organization have been using.
Find a data file with fuel consumption from your suppliers for 2025 so far. How can I request data from suppliers?
⚠️ Note: Identify who your internal data owner is – or who in your organization already manages this information. Check internally whether these documents already exist before you start collecting new data.Head to Imports>Data>Fuel. Once you have the fuel consumption data from your suppliers, import with “Select Files” to upload your completed sheet.
Match column if needs and make sure that all your entries are formatted correctly.
⚠️ Note: Once your data is imported, it cannot be edited directly in the platform. We recommend reviewing and keeping a copy of your file before importing (Export as Excel).
Click Complete Import to finalize your upload.
When ready, hit “Submit”.
Step 3: View your impact 👀🌍
Congrats! 🎉 You can now start viewing your impact in Dashboard.
Need to delete data? Access your data imports in Data>Previous imports in your functional tools. There you can view your imports and delete them as needed.
Step 4: Next steps 🔌🔥🚿
Congrats!! 🎉 You have just finished running through the Core data flow for fuel.
Where are you in your sustainability journey – and where are you heading?
When you head to Organisation>Impact Profile you find your Impact Profile – your window into sustainability ambitions and performance.
👉 A good next step now, is to begin to complete your Impact Profile – this will give you an overview of where your organisation's sustainability journey stands today, before diving into what comes next.
You don't need to have all the answers - just start here.
Complete the picture
👉 Repeat the same import process for electricity, heating, and water to build a complete overview of your resource use for your Scope 1 & 2 emissions.
This data forms the foundation for your disclosures (Climate Report), informed decision-making, and responding to stakeholder transparency and accountability requests.
Every data type management in the Core journey follows the same data flow: Add your Suppliers ➡️ Import your Usage ➡️ View your impact.
