Why can't I modify or tailor surveys?
Sustainable impact does not happen in isolation – it is a collective effort. A critical tool to drive this impact is the ability to benchmark and compare performance in a harmonized and standardized way, both within our own organization and against others.
Klappir's Due diligence tool unlocks two key features; Received surveys and Sent surveys.
The surveys are fixed templates you can select from – the questions and format cannot be directly edited or customized. Klappir’s rationale is simple: we align with industry, policy and regulatory calls for harmonization and streamline diverse guidelines to ensure consistent, clear, and comparable sustainability reporting.
Sustainable impact is not achieved in isolation — it is a collective effort. To encourage data connection and comparability across organizations, we prioritize:
-
Standardization and benchmarking: By maintaining standardized surveys, we enable you to make meaningful comparisons that build trust and confidence in your sustainability assessment.
-
Transparency: Klappir wants to support you to be transparent and consistent. Allowing customization can make it harder to explain the assessment criteria.
-
Ecosystem alignment - The standardized surveys are meant to align with industry guidelines and standards such as the OECD and EU frameworks approach due diligence and sustainability reporting. Customization could move away from these established frameworks, whereas standardized surveys facilitate dialogue and benchmarking across peers and industries.
Klappir's approach is to bring clarity to sustainability. Together we move away from isolated, high-risk, compliance-chasing projects toward a more connected and dynamic long-term sustainable development. Fixed templates do not limit companies from carrying out additional or customized due diligence — they simply ensure that the shared foundation remains harmonized for all – building comparability, trust and confidence in sustainability assessments.
