Start with the right Reporting Standard
Identify your reporting standard — ESRS, VSME, ESG Nasdaq or other — to set the direction
Before you begin working in Klappir‑Strategy, it's important to know which reporting standard your organisation is following. This determines how your system is set up and what you will see throughout the platform.
During onboarding, the Klappir team or your sustainability consultants will configure your organisation with the correct reporting pathway based on your needs.
What is a Reporting Standard and why is it important?
Your selected reporting standard defines:
- How your materiality assessment and reporting forms are structured
Klappir‑Strategy currently supports the following pathways:
-
ESRS – for companies reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
-
VSME – for small and medium-sized enterprises using the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard
-
ESG Nasdaq – for companies following Nasdaq’s ESG Reporting Guide
-
Other – for organisations using custom, internal, or sector-specific frameworks
Switching Standards Later
Don’t worry if your organisation starts with one standard and later needs to change. It’s easy to switch from VSME to ESRS (or any other supported pathway).
When you switch:
-
You can choose to keep your current materiality assessment or use a more detailed version
-
New reporting forms will become available, while your existing reports can remain accessible during the transition
-
You can review and update your existing content as needed
💡 The Klappir team / Sustainability consultant will assist you in making this transition.
