Impact Profile
The Klappir Impact Profile is the window into sustainability ambitions and performance – scoping your organization’s risks and opportunities, as well as those across your value chain.
Your Impact Profile
Your Impact Profile reflects your sustainability ambitions and performance — scoping your organization’s risks and opportunities, as well as those across your value chain.
Think of the Impact Profile as your Sustainability Passport ID – a clear, data-driven representation of your environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact. Your Impact Profile is your chance to become visible in the entire Klappir Ecosystem – sharing your desired trusted window into your disclosed sustainability performance.*
It brings structure and transparency by allowing organizations to:
- Present their sustainability progress in a clear, standardized format.
- Share key data and reports with suppliers, customers, and partners.
- Provide visibility into their actions and commitments, helping others perform quality risk assessments of their value chain.
- Strengthen collaboration by making sustainability work more comparable, transparent, and trusted.
The power of the Impact profile
About you
The About section is your window to highlight your current sustainability summary and your sustainability ambitions. Take a look at Klappir's own Impact profile in Value chain>My Value Chain to get an idea.
We recommend you share a Sustainability Summary presenting your Environmental (E), Social (S), Governance (G), and Economy (Performance & Resilience) as shown below:
Scope
Following the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, the Impact Profile supports a broad scoping exercise. At this stage, this exercise helps you identify areas of your business, supply chains, and other business relationships where Responsible Business Conduct risks are most likely to occur and most significant. Klappir leverages two principle risk dimensions; Geographical Risk and Disclosure Completeness.
Scoping shows:
-
Strengths and gaps across ESG (e.g., where you have policies in place and where you do not).
-
Focus areas vs. neglected areas in your sustainability approach
-
An indication of who to assess further based on ESG performance gaps
The Impact Profile in the Klappir Ecosystem
Every organization in the Klappir Ecosystem speaks the same sustainability language. Shared frameworks and data structures make your Impact Profile a trusted reference point for collaboration, due diligence, and long-term value creation.
The Impact Profile not only presents and screens the completeness of your sustainability journey, but also guides you in prioritizing due diligence efforts across your value chain.
Your first steps in the Klappir platform:
1. Review your Impact Profile in Impact Profiles to ensure your organization is represented correctly in Impact Profiles (including your Country, sector and publicly available information).
2. Complete your organization's About section. We recommend you share a Sustainability Summary presenting your Environmental (E), Social (S), Governance (G), and Economy (Performance & Resilience).
3. Fill in the Impact Questionnaire to scope your sustainability performance – where you currently stand in terms of policies, practices, and disclosures.
*The data shared in the Impact profile is gathering sustainability-related information that organizations have already disclosed publicly (e.g., financial statements, sustainability reports, codes of conduct, policies, regulatory filings). To fill gaps and keep it current, you can also create your own reports directly in the platform, ensuring they are audit-ready and prepared for future disclosure.
