Accounting for your Growth journey
The Accounting tool collects all your Environmental impact data in one place. Record your Social and Governance information according to templates to prepare for generating a report.
Access Klappir Accounting to:
- View templates to outline your impact
- Enter financial, social and governance data
- Download your accounting reports to inform strategic decision-making that grow your impact with confidence
Navigate to Accounting:

- Access Accounting from the site navigation menu.
- Click Reports, then select Accounting.
Set Accounting report parameters
Before generating a report, define the data you want to include by setting the following parameters:
Reporting Type: Select the "Type" field to choose the "reporting template" that structures your data.
Fiscal Periods: In the "Fiscal Period" field, select the reporting periods you want to include.
Asset Group (Optional): If you want to filter data for a specific "asset group", select it in this field. Note: If left blank, the report will include all data in your account.
Period Type: Choose which part of the year you want to include: Full Year (default), Half-Year, Specific Fiscal Quarter
Currency and Currency Scaling: Select the currency in which financial values will be displayed. Choose how values are presented (e.g., thousands, millions, or billions).
Base Year (Reference Only): Displays your organization's reference year. You can adjust the base year in System Settings.
The base you build in Accounting is the foundational information that will appear in your Statement. The data in Accounting is your live data. Whereas when you get to Statements you can take your chosen snapshot to communicate your results and share them with stakeholders.
Your Homework:
- Take a look at the different types of reporting and survey templates.
- Based on what template you choose, get an idea of what data points you need to gather additional information for to build your desired report in Statements. For example Social and Governance are manual import fields in Accounting.
