New Features & Improvements:
Seamless migration: Easily move historical emissions from legacy platforms or spreadsheets into Klappir without losing consistency for past years.
Partner collaboration: Import results directly from consulting partners who perform specific, non-activity-based calculations.
Handling estimates: Where activity data is missing (e.g., due to a lack of measurements), you can now transparently import estimated values to ensure your reporting remains comprehensive.
Note: While this feature adds flexibility, "Precalculated" data is distinct from "Activity" data. It represents the emission result (kgCO2e) without the underlying operational metrics (like fuel volume or kWh), meaning it won't appear in fuel-specific intensity insights. This distinction ensures you maintain transparency between measured activity and imported calculations.
A Fresh Look: Greenhouse Gas Emissions Insights
To support this broader data landscape, we have given the Greenhouse Gas Emissions page a complete facelift. The new insights page offers a clear, high-level overview of your environmental impact, designed to help you understand exactly how your total emissions are composed.
New Features & Improvements:
Activity vs. Precalculated split: Instantly visualize how much of your footprint comes from verified activity data versus precalculated imports. This is a vital indicator of data quality and accounting maturity.
Fiscal year alignment: All totals and charts now automatically respect your system’s fiscal year settings.
Multi year comparison: Overlay different years in the charts to track your trajectory and compare performance over time.
Granular data table: A new, detailed data table replaces the old summary view, allowing you to breakdown emissions by scope, category, and supplier with pre-selected grouping options.
By allowing Precalculated Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to sit side-by-side with your granular activity data, we are giving you the tools to tell the full story of your sustainability journey and build clarity now - your past, present, and future.
Getting Started
You can find the new Precalculated Emissions tile in the bottom right corner of your tile view. When importing, you will be able to map these emissions directly to your specific Assets, Legal Entities, and Suppliers, ensuring your value chain remains connected and transparent.
